This sleepsack, purported to be a sleep solution, is an unfortunate misstep in baby care technology. Despite claims of improving sleep quality, the reality is far more troubling. The Canadian government has deemed these sleepsacks unsafe, citing their involvement in tragic instances of infant mortality. This grave concern underscores a critical flaw in the product’s design: the added weight, intended to simulate a comforting pressure, poses severe risks to an infant’s safety by potentially impairing their ability to breathe and move freely.
Furthermore, the lack of rigorous safety testing and oversight only compounds the problem. Parents, who trust these products to provide a safe sleep environment, are instead met with a dangerous gamble that could have dire consequences. The weighted sleepsack fails to live up to its promises and, in light of official warnings, should be avoided at all costs. The potential risks far outweigh any hypothetical benefits, making this product a perilous choice for any concerned caregiver.
I returned the product without having used it, out of abundant caution, as my wife discovered it was unsafe after I ordered it. I paid for postage and sent it back to the source. Months later, I received an email informing me that no refund could be reissued, as the box was slightly damaged.
Avoid this company at all costs. Buy the Halo sleeper, or the Narutoo swadle wrap. We had success with both of those products. Nested Bean is a dangerous scam.

My daughter loves sleeping in this! The only reason it’s 4 and not 5 stars is because the sizing is way off. My daughter is average sized and 8 wks. She fits the 3-6 month one and will likely outgrow it by 3 months. Hoping to find something similar to replace it when she does

This sleep sack works wonders! I definitely swear by it. We had only bought 1 to try it out to see what the hype was about. My son threw up on it and that night he didn't have it was hell he was up all night crying only wanted to sleep on our chest. As soon as we washed and dryed it that night he went back to his restful sleep.

I bought and regretted it after five minutes of use. It's expensive to say the least, but also I found dangerous for my newborn. Her breathing pattern changed while wearing it and I had a bad feeling about leaving it on her for sleeping. I would urge people to research weighted sleep sacks for infants before purchasing (not just reading what Nested Bean has on their website).
I tried returning but was outside the return window. They also won't always refund you according to their policy so even if you do return in the window, they have the right to deem it not fully refundable. I would highly discourage buying from this company. I would recommend buying a hands up sleep sack without the weight - there are lots of companies with excellent customer service who retail those products.
I bought this while exhausted and looking for a solution - I'd urge the person reading this who is up at two am because baby won't sleep to put your phone down, snuggle your babe, and forget about this product. I wish someone has told me to do that.

I ordered for my 2 month old based on the size chart she was below the requirements for the 0-3 month size however I wish I sized up as it’s almost too small for her. I ended up taking the sleeves off because her arms seemed squished and it’s very thin material so she woke up from being too cold overnight which she has been sleeping through the night normally before switching sleep sacks. I wish the weight in the middle helped more with setting her down but it doesn’t seem to make a difference.

I ordered the midnight blue and lilac sleep sacks in size 3-6 months and they appear to be made of different fabrics (lilac has more elastiscity and blue is a thicker fabric) and the lilac one is already separating at the seams creating a hole. For the amount of money, I am not thrilled about the significant differences between the exact same sleep sacks in the two colours and the fact that there is already a hole in it after a few weeks of intermittent use.
Would not recommend.

The only sleep sack we've been using. Late night diaper changes are so quick with the double zipper. She sleeps so well and seems to really love this sleeper :)

I love everything about this swaddle, great quality and love the stretchy belly band. I am only giving it 4 stars because it fits smaller than I expected. My baby definitely did not fit into it up to 18lbs, maybe with his arms out, but not swaddled in or when using the mesh sleeves. I wish this product came in an additional larger size.

My newborn sleeps really well with this swaddle.
Helps with the reflux.
Highly recommended

My little one has been sleeping great since he got this three weeks ago. I didn’t realize how squirmy he was until using this sleep sack and it really had helped him stay asleep for longer stretches and helped me with dream feeds in the night! Sometimes he wiggles his arms up/out of the swaddle part or the inside/swaddle pieces slide up but that could be an error on my part? Skyway I highly recommend

This is our favourite so far. I wish we had one for our first child - we have the sleep sacks but this is our first zen sack. We’re able to get 5-6 hour stretches since our daughter was 4 weeks old (we even got one 8 hour stretch so far!).
I do like the option for transitioning to sleep sack, which will be doing soon. Nested bean are our favourite products!

Incredible!!!!
Our girl went from only sleeping a maximum of one hour in her bassinet to sleeping 3 hours straight the first night with her Zen One!
A few weeks in and she sleeps 4-5 hours before her hungry tummy wakes her up. A quick bum change and a feed and she's back to sleep instantly for another 4-5 hours.
Heavenly for this previously sleep-deprived mama

Love love love! Like it says on the packaging- better sleep in 1-3 nights. Our newest little guy has always wanted his independence by being in the crib from 7 weeks old on… but he wouldn’t stay asleep for longer than an hour or two because he was startling himself awake and couldn’t self soothe. We introduced his 2018 brother’s old Nested Bean swaddle, which he loved (yes, we have had it for almost 6 years and it is STILL in amazing shape). He started sleeping longer stretches right away with this. Then he started to roll around the 12 week mark, so being swaddled was no longer safe. I turned to Nested Bean once again for a safe sleep solution. I loved this sleep sack because of the mesh coverings over the hands, so I don’t have to worry if he tries to self soothe with his hands/fingers, and for the fact that we can remove these arm portions to allow him to eventually sleep with his arms down. HE STARTED SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT ON DAY TWO WITH THIS SACK!!! It’s now been 2.5 weeks and he is sleeping through the night every night. Having his arms up helps him self soothe and the minimal weight on his chest helps mimic my hand, so when he does get startled awake here and there throughout the night, he can get himself back to sleep. I love this product and can’t say enough good things… thankful to have my sleep back!

Expensive for the quality.

Swaddle was too small and tight for my two week old and return the policy is poor and a lot of work and hassle for a new mamma. Disappointed. Purchased an alternative on Amazon sadly

My baby hated having her swaddled and would constantly break out of her blanket, leaving her frustrated and awake in the middle of the night and in the middle of her naps. Once we put her in the the Zen One she was able to sleep soundly with arms by her face and her feet nicely tucked in. The weights were an added bonus to make her feel extra secure.
Kira
Loved the many options for use. Would buy again!
Kira
These were great as a transition sleep sack. I loved the many ways we could use it. Would definitely recommend to a friend.
Cynthia D.
Love the lightweight feel of the fabric. The material is soft and breathable. The item is very well made and durable as my daughter wears it every day multiple times a day for her naps and nighttime sleep.
My daughter loves to have her arms out so having them contained in the mesh like fabric is perfect as it also keeps her from waking herself up with her startle reflex.
Karina
Tried this for 5 nights. Baby would get out, did not help sleep better, as stated in 1-3 days better sleep.
Good quality material, too small for my 3 week old newborn.
Stacia P.
This is absolutely beautifully made and feels wonderful. The three stars are because it’s way too small of my baby (she is only 2 months but very long) I am too tired and disorganized to return and I have already washed and removed tags on one.
Mishel
Didn't help my baby to sleep better
Chantal W.
I really wanted this to be my fix for my babies sleep. Unfortunately it didn't do the trick. The material and fabrication are great, very well made. It did rise up like other people described but you just need to adjust the Velcro around the body.
Danielle J.
Our baby absolutely loves these! He went from a two hour stretch to 4+ hours! Making for a happy baby and happy parents.
Linh N.
The material is nice and soft. However, it is made quite small and didn't seem to make a difference in little one's sleep. I had high hopes.
Meizi
The size is a little smaller. It does help with sleeping.
Sara M.
We loved the zen one nested bean! The gentle weight on the chest is perfect and helps our little one sleep soundly.
Only slight issue is because of the “wings” where the arms go into, if our baby raises their arms above their head, the collar of the sleep sack goes up near their face. Sometimes we have to pull it down.
Antoine
Excellent product. Our night changed. The costumer service was excellent and changed the size of it. Because the first one was too small. I recommend this product. Definitely a night changer
Dana
The size wasn’t accurate, my son was within the weight range but this was too tight on him
Sheila Mae
3-6 months is very tight and short for my 2month old baby.
Sarah
Great product but 1 came with a hole and another the stitches came undone right at the bottom of the zipper after a month of use. They replaced the one with the hole which was great. Customer service is as awesome
Rebecca G.
So well made! Love it
Pamela J.
The most amazing sleeping sack for a “full” night sleep! My baby now does from 10pm until 6h30 am she used to wake up every 2-3 hours! Which is amazing! Thank you for such a great sleeping sack!
Lisa
Sizing is off - 3-6 months is very tight around the chest area (for a 3 month old)
Carrie O.
Ours got a rip in it. The company asked if the tag was still on it and because we took it off so it would not bother our little on the company did nothing.
Not very good.
Lara S.
Baby sleeps 6-7.5 hours now with this. I love it and she self soothes with her hands up position. I recommend to anyone with an active baby.
Michelle M.
Love this swaddle - it really helped our baby transition from swaddle to sleep sac. Would definitely recommend
Lucie C.
Perfect sleep sack for growing baby
Lucie
It’s a great swaddle with the option for the next step.. arms free
Mildred
Great help with me and my little who loves to sleep longer.
Jenna L.
I have LOVED every nested bean product I’ve tried for my baby so far. The swaddles were a dream and the transitional ones are making the change to arms free much easier! I totally think the weighted pouch helps baby feel comforted during sleep. I will definitely be purchasing additional sleep sacs & have been recommending them all to my new mom friends!
Krystle M.
Upgraded from Velcro swaddles to the zen one and was a great decision wish I had started with this I love how it can grow with him as he transitions. Will def be purchasing sleep sacks when we get to that stage.
Tiffany C.
I think this sleep sack is an amazing product and has helped with transition BUT I found it far too small. We bought it for our son who was 2 months when we first got it. He is only 14 lbs and it’s very tight unless his arms are out which is only the end result. His feet also touch the bottom. So it’s a bit disappointing that we won’t be able to use this item for very long.
Safia H.
My little one loves this swaddle and so do I. She would likely sleep through the night if I didn’t wake her up to feed.
Kristy
My baby sleeps great in this sleep sack. I like the mesh arms, however she likes to rub her eyes and face as she wakes up so if the sleeves are damp she gets a bit of a rash (only temporarily). I'm glad we didn't try to use this sleep sack as a swaddle because she would've broken free from that inside band very easily. My only complaint is that it really is too small. My baby is in the 50th percentile for height and weight and at 4.5 months she's just about to outgrow it. We'll need to transition to hands free soon anyway so for anyone looking to get their baby out of the swaddle, I would recommend this sleep sack!
Brandy G.
In our first night of use my daughter went from waking her self 2-3 times a night to only 1! Love the fabric, it’s so soft and very easy to put baby in!!
Maedeh H.
It’s a soft and breathable fabric.
Florebelle I.
I love the zen one! The only downside is the sizing. My baby is only 6wks old and he's already too tight for the 0-3mos size.
Kelly L.
6 week old sleeps 6-7 hour stretches while wearing! Was a game changer!
Meagan A.
Love the material and how breathable it is for baby! Having the options for the arms is awesome. Since using the zen my babe and I have gotten a lot of good rested sleep. I look forward to ordering the next size up as he grows! Great product!
Cynthia W.
I bought 2 Zen One Classic and they fit just right on my baby who is only 6 weeks. Wanted to exchange one of them for a bigger size but customers have to pay for the returning label, doesn't make sense to me. Good products but customer service is not as good, sadly.
M F.
Had a great experience with the sleep sac for my first baby. Decided to order the zen one for my newborn. Helps with sleep but velcro band isn’t secure and rides Up.
Sizes are off nb size runs small. I recommend this brand just not this style.
Paige L.
Our daughter sleeps so much better while wearing this sleep sac. We love it!
Tanya T.
Not as big as I thought.. I have a long baby and its almost to small. But does help the baby sleep a little better
Radhika R.
The strap for Moro reflex keeps bunching up, my child keeps breaking free from it so it doesn't work too well. The size also runs small my 2 month old who is underweight for her age just fits it's length
Stefanie d.
My 3 month old sleeps well in this!! Great purchase
