A Comfy, Cozy Sleep

September, 2013

I’m gonna go ahead and put this out there. My baby can’t sleep unless he is swaddled. My husband is probably the best swaddler there is – my son resembles a small bean burrito when he’s finished with the task. Me? Not so much. I fumble and fuss, and in the end my son is able to wiggle his way out faster than Houdini.

That’s why I’m in love with the new Zen Swaddle from Nested Bean. It basically does the work for you. Plus it is weighted on the sides and the chest area to mimic the feeling of being held. Genius if you ask me. The result is a snug and totally secure baby who will sleep at least an hour more per night. Yes, that’s their claim, but it seems to be on target when tested in my own home. So, the name Zen is really accurate.

My 7 week old baby boy all snug and cozy in his Nest Bean Zen Swaddle.

With the Zen Swaddle™ you get 2 sizes in 1. A smaller interior pouch keeps your baby’s legs snug during the first few weeks, while the extra long sack offers additional legroom to grow Unlike other magic swaddle products, this one is actually cute and fashionable. I love the fact that’s made with 100% softer than soft cotton. There are a variety of designs but my favorite is from the Wheels & Vine Collection which features three custom prints that draw from the same palette of Kumquat and Pebble. The modern Wheels print features spinning spokes and delicate ripples.

SassyMoms Zen Swaddle Review

Zen Swaddle retails for $39.99 and is available online and in select specialty stores. And if you ask me, it’s worth every penny.

Moms, are you a swaddling master or do you need a little help like the rest of us?

Disclaimer: I was provided with a sample of this product but all savvy thoughts and opinions are my own.
